The world is watching as millions of refugees flee the horrors of war in Ukraine. The 700 Club Canada has committed to partner with Samaritan’s Purse Canada to ensure that those who are suffering have access to what they need to survive while they journey to safety.
Samaritan’s Purse Canada is operating an emergency field hospital, medical clinics, and distributing relief items through church partners in Ukraine and Moldova.
The world is shocked and horrified by the images of death and destruction coming out of Ukraine, a catastrophe we have not witnessed in Europe since the Second World War. The United Nations reports that more than 3 million refugees, primarily women and children, have already left Ukraine seeking shelter in nearby countries. Millions more are displaced within the country.
