Almond Tree Ministries
Almond Tree Ministries works to meet the holistic needs of Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal prisoners, residential school victims and their children, with the ultimate goal of seeing them reconciled to Christ, their families and their communities.
Bible League Canada
Bible League Canada mentors, equips and empowers believers of Christ in over 40 countries to become local champions to transform their own communities. Their biggest focuses are: Starting New Churches, Children’s ministry, Adult Bible-based ministry and Persecuted Church ministry.
The Bill Prankard Evangelistic Association (BPEA)
The Arctic Hope Project (AHP) is a youth and community development project initiated by BPEA that provides cultural counselling, while developing Inuit youth leadership skills. It is a groundbreaking, faith-based project that addresses many of the root issues that Inuit youth face in the north.
Child Evangelism Fellowship
Child Evangelism Fellowship is a Bible-centred organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.
Church on the Rock
In 1996, Pastors Peter and Sheela Duraisami felt the Lord calling them to start a church. With a group of seven elders and a few believers, Church on the Rock had its humble beginnings in the living room of a friend’s house. Now, it has evolved into an international ministry, including; anti-human trafficking projects in India, caring for needy children in Sri Lanka, and sending missionaries, medical clinics and evangelistic crusades to developing countries.
Give The Word
With a focus on equipping ministry work in Canada, Give The Word distributes both English and Spanish outreach Bibles. They give out an average of 20,000 Bibles every year to share the love of Jesus.
Hope For The Sold
Hope for the Sold is an abolitionist charity that fights exploitation one word at a time, through writing, speaking, and film. Founders Michelle and Jared Brock have written pieces for Huffington Post, Relevant Magazine and spoken at several social justice events.
Israel’s Peace Ministries
The mandate of Israel’s Peace Ministries is to assist, through prayer and financial support, the ministers that preach the Gospel in the face of hardship. These Messianic Pastors and congregations in Israel are facing tremendous persecution and even life-threatening circumstances, yet not abandoning their call to preach the Gospel to both Jew and Gentile.
Metro Kids Society
With the tag-line “Giving inner-city kids a chance”, Metro Kids Society is an organization dedicated to the early development of children in need. The heart of Metro Kids Society is their Saturday morning program “Kids Klub”, which includes games, songs, giveaways and contests. Each week includes a powerful lesson time to teach kids valuable life lessons.
Leket Food Bank
Leket Israel is the largest food bank in Israel, and has been a leader and an expert in food rescue nationwide since 2003. The organization sources, collects and redistributes fresh, perishable, quality food, which would otherwise be considered waste, from farms, hotels, military bases and catering halls. This is done in an effort to aid the quarter of the country’s population that lives below the poverty line.
Prison Fellowship Canada
The vision of Prison Fellowship Canada is to be a community of reconciliation and restoration to offenders, ex-offenders, their families and victims using a faith-based approach to transformation based on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ.
Samaritan’s Purse Canada
Samaritan’s Purse is a Christian relief and development organization that takes its name from Jesus’s story in the Bible of the Good Samaritan. Like that Good Samaritan, Samaritan’s Purse provides aid to hurting people- victims of war, disease, disaster, poverty, famine, and persecution.
The Scott Mission
The Scott Mission is a Christian, non-denominational, faith-based street mission in downtown Toronto, serving the poor and needy of the city. Their various ministries offer support and provisions for the homeless, low-income families, and children and youth. The Scott Mission seeks to bring spiritual, physical and emotional wholeness to the lives of those in need.
Strength To Fight
Strength To Fight is a group of Canadians who are passionate about fighting for a porn-free Canada. Through presentations, website and resources, they are working to equip Canadians to live porn-free lives and build porn-free communities.
Teen Challenge is a 12-month, faith-based, residential drug and alcohol rehabilitation program that is part of a network of over 15 Teen Challenge Centres across Canada and more than 1,000 worldwide. The program has a strong faith-based approach and offers spiritual, academic and vocational training that helps equip individuals to return to society as responsible citizens. Their mission is to help men and women overcome substance addictions to lead full and productive lives.
Union Gospel Mission (UGM)
The mission of UGM is to demonstrate the love of Christ through transforming communities by overcoming poverty, homelessness and addiction – one life at a time.
V-Kol Media Ministries
V-Kol Media Ministries exists to advance the Gospel of Jesus Christ through teaching and preaching, planning and hosting revival events, developing media and print resources for revival and social justice issues, and partnering with ministries to reach the poor and needy.
White Rose Movement
The organization is moved with compassion to give White Roses and gifts to women working in the sex industry all over our city as a statement that their lives are cared about, and believes God can bring change. It is their effort to restore dignity and honour back to women through unconditional love.
Windsor Life Centre
Windsor Life Centre is a faith-based, non-profit, twenty bed residential treatment home for women seeking freedom from drug and alcohol addictions.
W.I.N.G.S. Maternity Home
W.I.N.G.S. Maternity Home is a faith-based organization located in the Durham Region. It is a safe home for young women in need of a loving & nurturing environment during their time of pregnancy and up until they are ready to move onto independent living. They seek to shelter and educate homeless, pregnant and parenting young women by assisting in providing comprehensive services that empower them to make successful life decisions for themselves and their babies. The home provides food, clothing, individual counselling, medical care, childbirth/parenting classes, mandatory participation in education or job training, practical life skills lessons and independent living skills training.
