The Hosts of The 700 Club Canada

Bill Markham

Bill is a passionate follower of Jesus, Lead Pastor in a growing multi-generational church, devoted husband and father, and community leader.  He is a dynamic communicator who harnesses the ability to translate the timeless Truth of God’s Word in such a way as to connect with both the growing believer and the first-time seeker. He is passionate about seeing people discover their God-given potential and inspiring them to live this out by serving others.

Bill spent most of his developing years in Thailand where his parents were missionaries. This cross-cultural experience instilled in him a deep love and appreciation for many different world-views and a passion to express the Love of Jesus into unique and diverse contexts. He developed this passion by pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Theology at Summit Pacific Bible College and his Masters Degree in Theology at Tyndale University. He then applied this passion in ministry as a Youth Pastor, Bible College Professor, Worship and Creative Arts Pastor, and finally as a Lead Pastor at Central Community Church in St. Catharines, Ontario where he currently serves.

In addition to leading his church, Bill is a motivational speaker at conferences, serves on various not-for-profit boards in his community, and is a High School Volleyball Coach. This is all driven by his passion to see people transformed in practical and tangible ways through the Love of Jesus.

Bill also enjoys God’s creation by golfing and going on hikes with his family; God’s beauty revealed in the arts, and God’s power in the transformed hearts and minds of those in his life.
