
Roma Fisher
Dr. Roma Fisher is Ojibway from Northwestern Ontario. He is a pastor, educator, author, and motivational speaker. As a mentor, he inspires others with his remarkable testimony of freedom from a life of poverty, addiction, and trauma.
Roma’s academic accomplishments include an Honours Bachelor of Social Work Degree from Lakehead University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Manitoba. He is also a graduate of Rhema Bible College in Tulsa, Oklahoma and has received a Doctor of Ministry Degree from the School of Bible Theology Seminary and University, San Jacinto, California.
Pastor Roma and his wife Anita planted Faith City Church in Thunder Bay, Ontario where they currently pastor. With over 30 years of pastoral experience, they lead a growing team of leaders and helpers who love to serve God and help others. In 2012 they established Faith Life Bible College to prepare individuals for their ministry calling. Pastor Roma was recently elected as a councilor on his home community, Long Lake #58 First Nation. Throughout the years he has also assisted with mental health and addiction initiatives in the region.
In 2008, Dr. Roma Fisher became the president and host of “Spirit Alive”, a weekly TV program sharing the Spirit of Faith regionally and nationally. Viewers across the nation receive faith and encouragement through the life-changing teaching of God’s Word.
