Rev. Ayanna Solomon is the Founder and President of Jesus in the City, an international Christian movement that proclaims the Gospel of Jesus Christ through music, arts, and culture. A visionary ministry leader, nonprofit executive, worship leader, and creative arts advocate, she has spent more than 25 years mobilizing churches and communities across Canada and around the world.

Since founding the organization in 1999, she has led the growth of the annual Jesus in the City Parade in Toronto—one of Canada’s largest Christian festivals—uniting hundreds of churches and drawing tens of thousands. The movement has also expanded into the
Caribbean, with initiatives in Grenada, Jamaica, and St. Kitts & Nevis.

A passionate communicator and worship leader, Rev. Solomon has ministered across the Caribbean, North America, and Africa,  equipping leaders through worship and leadership training, and has taught on Creative & Innovative Evangelism at the Billy Graham Canada Evangelism Leadership Conference.

She has also served as a worship pastor, Bible instructor, and missionary, including establishing a Bible training institute in the West Indies. She is the founder of Solomon Media Productions, supporting ministry and community engagement through media and  design. Ordained in 1998 under Ministers Network Canada, her leadership has been recognized with multiple community awards, including honours from the Toronto Police Service.

Rev. Solomon is committed to equipping individuals to discover their purpose, fostering unity in the Body of Christ, and advancing the message of Jesus through culture, creativity, and community.
