Third Party Policy

Any third party data processors CBA uses are outlined further down in this policy, which identifies who has access to your data for the purpose for which such access is granted.

Legal requirements are imposed on such third parties requiring the protection of such data, including, but not limited to requirements imposed by law, regulation and/or by agreement.

Data Storage

We use third party database providers,ย Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Give WP, Stripe and Gravity Forms to store and manage most of our personally identifiable information. For more information, please see compliance information.ย 

BigScoots

We use third party service with Big Scoots to host our website and store much of the personal information that this site collects. These services have an EU-US Privacy Shield certification. This means that they have standards of data protection are comparable to UK and EU regulations. For more information, you can see BigScoots privacy notices here.

Email Subscribers

We use a third-partyย provider, Iterable , to deliver our email updates and promotion. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies including clear gifs to help us monitor and improve our emailing. We will only email you with content that you have consented to receive or is directly related to a product or service which you have purchased or subscribed, or a donation that you have made, or if there is a legal or contractual reason to contact you.ย 
If you are receiving emails that you do not want, you can stop them simply by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of each of our emails.ย NOTE:ย Some emails, such as donation confirmations and purchase receipts are automatically generated and cannot be unsubscribed.ย ย

We may also use your email address to send you messages and promotions we think you might like through social media services such as Facebook, Instagram and the Facebook Audience Network.ย 

Facebook

CBA wants to send you tailored messages and promotions that we think you will be interested in. To do this, our website uses a Facebook Tracking Pixel. This is a small piece of code that tells Facebook what pages on our website you have visited and logs actions that you may have taken, such asย  signing up for our email list. People Who Contact Us Via Social Mediaย 

ย We use Buffer to manage our social media interactions.ย  If you send us a private or direct message via social media, the message will be stored by Buffer. It will not be shared with any other organizations. For more information, please see the third-party providerโ€™s privacy notices:

People Who Call Our Prayer Lineย 

When you call the CBAโ€™s prayer line we collect personally identifiable information in our Genesys PureConnect phone system. We use this information to help improve its efficiency and effectiveness. ย We only record calls with your consent. When your call is recorded, it will only be used for training and monitoring purposes. All call recordings are stored securely and deleted after one year, except those related to electronic fund transfer (EFT), which are held for seven years due to federal regulation.ย For more information, please see Genesys

People Who Email Usย 

Emails that you send to us is held securely in our Office365 environment.ย  We use Transport Layer Security (TLS) to protect email in transit between our O365 environment and our CBA locations. ย Any emails we send to you or receive from you are not protected in transit. We may also monitor any emails sent to us, including file attachments, for viruses or malicious software.

People Who Use CBAย Servicesย 

CBA offers various services to the public. We may use a third party to deal with some publication requests such as Frontlines Magazine and Power for Life, but they are only allowed to use the information to send out the publications.ย

We have to hold the details of the people who have requested a service in order to provide it. However, we only use these details to provide the service the person has requested and other related purposes, including, but not limited to, informing you of other services or promotions we think you might be interested in. We may also use information about people who have requested a publication to carry out a survey to find out if they are happy with the level of service they received.
