Based in St. Albert, Alberta,ย Greg beganย full-time ministry with The Voice of the Martyrs Canada in 2003,ย three years after servingย as a volunteer.ย ย
During thatย time,ย heย hasย reported fromย dozens ofย restrictedย and hostileย nations in Africa, Europe, Asia,ย Southย Americaย and theย Middle East. He hasย interviewed hundreds of persecuted Christians.ย ย
Along with being interviewed onย numerousย television and radio programs inย Canadaย and theย U.S., Greg produces video documentariesย andย radio and televisionย programs. Gregย actively sharesย the message of the persecuted church in churches,ย college campuses, and conferences across Canada.ย He has also spoken in many churches around the world andย teaches a courseย on the Biblical Theology of Persecution and Discipleship.ย Greg has taught the course in Pakistanย and Nigeriaย to Northย Koreanย and Chinese Christiansย in South Koreaย and in Bibleย colleges in Canada.ย ย
Born and raised in British Columbia, Greg became a Christian at 23 while living in Edmonton. Married for the past 42ย years to Arlene, the father of four adult children, and a grandfather of 5. Greg is an ordained minister and has served as a pastor in Alberta and Manitoba and in Christian media ministries, including hosting 100 Huntley Street. He also worked in television as a sports anchor and reporter, including TSN and Global Television Edmonton (formerly ITV).ย
A graduate of Northwest Bible College, now Vanguard College (Edmonton, 1990), Greg also attended the Columbia School of Broadcasting (Vancouver, 1976).ย
