Melanie Wubs

Melanie Wubs, RN is the International Health Manger of Samaritan’s Purse. She joined Samaritan’s Purse Disaster Response Team (DART) in 2017. During her time with DART she has deployed over twenty times leading assessments and rapid program startups in complex emergencies, conflict, refugee and migrant settings with the Emergency Field Hospital as well as technical support to longer term programming in protracted humanitarian crises.

She leads Samaritan’s Purse Canada health unit in developing emergency medical response capacities that deploy from Calgary. She is passionate about providing contextual geographically relevant compassionate care.
