Misty Duggan

Misty Duggan

God found Misty at a very young age, leading her by the hand into a life of ministry, which she said yes to at 16 years old on her first missions trip in the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest. Misty’s desire is to save women from their pain and brokenness leading them to embrace the love of a Father who cares so deeply for them, calling each of them His daughter, the beloved daughter of a kind and good King.

Misty has 24 years of business management experience in local and international for-profit and non-profit sectors. She holds a Non-Profit Management Certificate (Simon Fraser University) and is skilled in management, accounting, administration, fundraising, cross-cultural relationships, logistics, and communication. Misty has volunteered at her local church and for non-profits locally and abroad for the last 32 years. Misty is currently a Business Manager at a non-profit consulting company, which guides non-profits to success and sustainability.

Misty is deeply moved to make a difference in the lives of those who are hurting, both locally and overseas – especially those who have been abused, broken, overlooked or considered to be a lost cause. Misty is motivated by compassion to ‘bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners’ as Isaiah 61:1 says. The most rewarding moments of her life have been being a voice for the voiceless, standing up for injustice, and advocating for those who needed someone in their corner. Her desire is to have many more moments such as these, knowing that saving even one life is worth every sacrifice. Jesus rescued her multiple times, pulling her up from the murky pit, and she wants to follow in His footsteps to do the same for broken girls and women around the world, bringing hope and freedom.
