As we go along in life, it’s easy to become set in our ways and limit our expectations. But as this new year dawns, let’s be open to everything that God has for us!
Jeremiah 32:17 declares, Ah, Lord God! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.
And Jesus tells us in Mark 10:27, “With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible.”
Right now, we are entering an era of extraordinary possibilities with new media and technology. It’s incredible to think about the many ways we can implement these wonderful new tools to preach the Gospel—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people, as Revelation 14:6 says.
As I was considering all of this recently, a picture came to mind in which I was standing on a riverbank trying to figure out how to cross to the other side. Then another image came to mind—that of an eagle soaring high overhead, never worried about crossing a river.
There’s a great temptation to look at things in the natural. But we need to remember that God made the heavens and the earth, and with Him, nothing is impossible.
So what is your concern today? Jesus has made a way for you, and He will see you through. Turn to Him in faith. Ask Him to remove all doubt and unbelief. Invite Him to breathe His inspiration into your heart. Then trust Him to fill you with His courage and boldness.
Isaiah 40:31 promises, Those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles. And Ephesians 2:6 says we are in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
When we are with Jesus up in the spiritual realm, then truly all things are possible. God bless you!
