
Elio Alcindor
Dr. Elio Alcindor is a dedicated physician, ultrasound instructor, and award-winning gospel artist whose talents bridge both the medical and musical fields. Born in Haiti and now based in Canada, Dr. Alcindor is a multilingual Christian singer-songwriter and an active member of the Recording Academy (Grammys).
In addition to his work in healthcare and music, he is the Founder and President of the Canadian Selah Music Awards (CSMA)โan
organization committed to recognizing and celebrating the contributions of Canadian and international Christian artists and music professionals. With a big heart to serve the Kingdom of God, Dr. Alcindor uses his gifts and leadership to help uplift others through faith-driven creativity.
Under his guidance, CSMA has grown into a meaningful platform that honors artists whose music uplifts, inspires, and strengthens faith. As an involved member of the CSMA Board, Dr. Alcindor works closely with a passionate team to support the organization’s mission. CSMA functions as an award division of Canada Gospel Productions Inc., where he also serves as a board memberโfurther demonstrating his dedication to nurturing faith-based music and supporting the Christian creative community.
