Devotions
Day 26 – Reflections
This week, we’ve looked at what it means to cultivate a servant spirit. This counter-cultural calling challenges us to put others before ourselves, modeling the humility and love of Jesus Christ!
Day 27 – More Than Wishful Thinking
Believing in Jesus is the greatest single decision you will ever make in your life. It’s a shift from one kingdom, that of darkness, into a new kingdom, the Kingdom of Light.
Day 28 – Anchor Point
Throughout our lives, we will face storms. It’s unavoidable. If you haven’t yet faced a storm, then be assured that it’s coming. No one is immune from facing trials and difficulties.
Day 29 – Strength For Today & Bright Hope for Tomorrow
Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross, His victory over death, and His resurrection from the dead means we have hope in a life beyond what we see here on earth.
Day 30 – For the Lost
The truth is that in our lives, we can often feel like we are going around in circles, too. We all need someone to come alongside us and show us the right way.
Day 31 – For the Broken
There’s no greater reminder that we live in a fallen, broken world than when we celebrate Easter. The crux of Easter is celebrating the resurrection of Christ.
Day 32 – Sharing Your Hope
When something great happens, who do you call? Maybe it’s a parent, spouse, friend, or child. We naturally want to share good news with the people we love.
Day 33 – Anchoring Our Hearts in the Hope of Christ
As we journey through Lent and look toward Easter Sunday, we have spent this week reflecting on the theme of Hope in Christ—a hope that is not fleeting or wishful but sure, steadfast, and rooted in Jesus.
Day 34 – Freedom From Sin
The molding process is called sanctification, and it’s the process of being shaped into the likeness of Christ, requiring daily surrender and reliance on the Holy Spirit.
Day 35 – Freedom From Death
When we know how the story ends, we release the worry about what happens next. When we know where we are going, we can operate from a place of freedom and not fear.
Day 36 – Renewing Your Mind
At the point of salvation, the instant transformation of our lives from sinners to saints marked the death of our old selves and the birth of a new creation in Christ.
Day 37 – For Freedom We Are Set Free
Jesus came to set you free. He set you free to enjoy the benefits of that liberty. We are meant to live in the freedom that Christ’s blood purchased for us.
