Faithfulness often feels like a journey through uncharted territory. Abraham knew this well. He stepped out in obedience, leaving his homeland for a destination God would reveal later.

As we go along in life, it’s easy to become set in our ways and limit our expectations. But as this new year dawns, let’s be open to everything that God has for us!

January 6 is an important date on the Christian calendar and marks the celebration of Epiphany. It is on this day that we commemorate the visit of the Magi, otherwise known as the three kings or wise men.

As we step into a New Year, it’s a perfect time to reflect on the fresh start God offers us. Sometimes, the weight of life can feel overwhelming, especially as another year approaches.

In today’s world, where the mentality of “get what you want at any cost” prevails, honesty has become a forgotten value. We’ve learned to leverage dishonesty for personal gain, spinning information to suit our own needs.

Better than any gift you could find in a store is that of God’s grace and the joy that is found in the knowledge of His love. What a privilege it is to share it during this Christmas season!

As we enter this Christmas season, my prayer for you is that you will experience the presence of your heavenly Father in a deep way. The name Immanuel holds incredible significance: “God with us.”

As we head into the Christmas and holiday season, financial strain can often weigh heavily on our minds. But God promises to meet our every need. In Scripture, He’s called our Provider, Sustainer, and Portion. 

I recently read, “Loneliness is the new silent killer—more deadly than smoking, more destructive than obesity, and it’s spreading faster than any pandemic we’ve ever faced.” This reality highlights the urgent need for action. What can we, as followers of Jesus, do about it?

In a world where “good” can be as subjective as asking if the food was tasty or if someone was well behaved, it’s crucial to understand true goodness from a biblical perspective. The Bible challenges us to see goodness not just as a moral nicety but as a powerful weapon against evil.

I have learned that God often requires us to wait upon Him and His timing. Sometimes, I’ve become impatient and tried to make the Lord’s plans happen for me, which didn’t end well. The Lord never intended us to live apart from Him.

In 2 Chronicles 20, we find the story of King Jehoshaphat facing a challenge. Multiple armies were closing in on his nation, threatening to destroy his people. In his desperation, he turned to God, the only one who could help.
